Head to the alerts section of your account from the main map page.

To change the frequency of your price alert emails, use the drop-down to select your new frequency.

Change or add a Price Alert location

Type in the new postcode in the postcode box

Select the fuel type, and the search radius from 5, 10, 15 or 20 miles.
Hit save and your next price alert will be correct.

Savings Per Year Estimator Equation

The fuel price estimations are calculated based on common, average price-spreads and other economic factors that are subject to industry benchmarks. An example of this equation can be seen below.

Algebraic Formula

(a-c=b)*(x/(z/3.75))

a = Highest average price of fuel available (by town).

b = Difference in averages between the highest and lowest averages stated. This indicator does include motorway prices, which are considered anomalies in the fuel price market.

c = Lowest average price of fuel available (by town).

x = Total litres used during the year. Calculated by dividing the MPL (Miles Per Litre) and the average mileage for that year.

z = Average Miles Per Gallon.

3.75 = Conversion rate of litres to US gallons. 1 US liquid gallon = 3.785 litres.

Real-Life Formula

Unleaded

(138.0p-113.9p=24.1p)(937.5L/(403.75)

Breakdown

138.0p per litre was the highest average price (by town) for unleaded fuel at the month end (March 2019).

113.9p per litre was the lowest average price (by town) for unleaded fuel at the month end (March 2019).

24.1p per litre was the difference in price per litre for unleaded fuel. These figures also include known motorway services, where fuel prices are considered anomalies.

937.5 litres was the calculated total amount of litres used in a year if one was travelling 10,000 miles per year with an average MPG of 40.

Unsubscribe from emails

Seeing people unsubscribe from emails makes us sad, but we understand that sometimes you want to leave. Here's how to do it (it's very simple)

On the app

Click on the user icon in the top right corner of the app.
Scroll on the left-hand side to the bottom and select which emails you would like to be subscribed to

On the website

Make sure you're signed in to your account.
Once in the members' section, head to the account section in the top right section of the menu.

Select the email subscriptions and you'll land on this page:

Unsubscribing is as simple as selecting in the dropdown whether you'd like to be subscribed or unsubscribed.
Make sure to save your changes, and you're done!

Our Fuel Data

How do you collect the data?

Our fuel data is gathered from Fuel Card users and our own members. When they purchase fuel with their card, we know what type of fuel they bought, where they bought it, and how much it cost. Since there are tens of thousands of fuel card users in the UK, we are able to update our prices at around 8,000 stations each and every day. Alongside this data, we also allow our users to update prices at every station in our database, even ones that don't accept fuel cards.

Why can’t I find a particular station near to me?

It’s important to note that our service is intended to help you find the cheapest fuel near to you. If a forecourt nearby isn’t offering competitive prices, that’s the most likely reason why it won’t appear on searches. We show the cheapest or nearest 50 stations to you, so it's highly unlikely you'll be missing a station and if so, simply search for it in the search bar.

How many garages are listed?

There are around 8,500 garages in the United Kingdom of which we are currently aware. However, some of them have been closed or do not accept fuel cards, and therefore we don't receive regular fuel card prices for them, but our members may update them. We currently have 98% of the garage market covered, with prices that are 48 hours old or less from fuel card transactions. Some tiny stations that are not recorded or very new stations may not be on the service but we will aim to add them in as soon as our database can be updat

Change your email address

Make sure you're signed in to your account.
Once in the members' section, head to the account section in the top right section of the menu.

Select the change your email function and you will land on this page:

Type in your new email address and hit the "Update your email" button and a success message will appear. -

That's it! Changing your email address will also update your email subscriptions to direct to the right email address.
