In short, yes, PetrolPrices will continue to have a completely free plan called Basic. This will stay free forever. There must be a catch? Surely... No catch. We generate revenue through our paid subscription plans for those who are dedicated to saving fuel on the road and through on-site advertising as a Basic member. Over 60's - 6 months free This offer is exclusive to existing Basic members who are over 60 years old. It is only available with annual PetrolPrices Plus plans. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, including any free trial promotions. The original annual subscription price is £24/year, the last 6 months are free and you only pay £12 (£2 monthly price for 6 months, rounded) This offer does not give you 6 months' free fuel, £12 discount on fuel or 50% off your fuel.
Discounts for paid subscription plans
Some members will receive a discounted offer for the paid subscription services. Discounts are to be provided to consumers as either an introductory offer or promotion code supplied by a 3rd party that will apply a discount to an annual plan. It is solely at the discretion of PetrolPrices.com to decide if a member can receive a discount on a paid service. PetrolPrices.com also has the right, if it is discovered after the subscription has been set up that a member has misused or appropriated a d
What different subscription plans are available?
Currently, we offer members a range of different plans to help them save the most on the road. We're not trying to over-sell any subscription package to those who don't need it. That is why we have kept the simplest plan completely free. Basic - The free plan aimed for occasional, personal use. Within Basic, members get a limited access to the price data, features and search limits each month. If they run out of searches, they can top up their search limits before their free monthly searche
Cancel your paid subscription plan
If you have a monthly billing plan, you can cancel your current paid subscription plan at any time by visiting your account and clicking on the cancel subscription link. Access will continue for the rest of the month until your next renewal date. Once you have cancelled your subscription, no further payments will take place. However, if you have an annual billing plan, you can still cancel your subscription in your account and clicking on the cancel
How secure is your financial data?
Financial data, such as bank card details are secured and stored by Stripe. PetrolPrices.com does not have control or access to any of the payment information used to make transactions. Stripe is fully regulated by the Financial Service Authority and their full terms are outlined here.
Renew your current subscription
At the end of the year, members will be notified if they want to renew the subscription, either by continuing payment for the month, or to a pay a new one off annual payment. Renewals will not occur automatically. If a member does not renew themselves, the service will suspend until such time as the decision to renew again has been made.
